Sun, 9 Nov 2008 Beyond Snow demo at SNO!Show Milton Keynes
On the 4th and 5th of October we showed our bindings off at the Milton Keynes Snoshow. Beyond Snow team rider Callum Wilkin was there riding and showing off on the rails, but avoiding the big kicker due to a fractured foot.
The step in concept is a difficult one to explain without physically showing the product so these demos help a lot of people get to terms with it. We often hear them compared to a bear trap which whilst providing a good image of the mechanism, is perhaps not the best way to refer to it.
People were able to preview the 08/09 models as well as test some of them. We had a full test range of the 07/08 bindings too.

Sunday the 5th of October saw riders gather at Suffolk Ski Centre in aid of Cancer Research. We sponsored the event with prizes to help raise money for charity. The event took a jam style format and as always the riders pushed each other to go bigger and bigger. It was a shame it clashed with the MK event, but you have to support anything done for such a good cause. Hopefully it will be repeated next year.
